engineering wheel
where can you rent an engineering wheel for measuring off 1/8 or 1/4 mile? how much should it cost to rent it?

If you know a traffic officer or patrol officer, he/she might have one in the trunk....
Or, on a slow Sunday morning, ask one of them to LIDAR(laser) the distance for you

dont' know any and live in the country. rarely even see one. any other suggestions. gotta be a way to get one for a day.
