Steve,

Have you fired up that Tuff Dawg crate motor yet? I have a friend looking at buying a motor from them and wanted some feedback.

HP numbers are high for the combo, but a bargin even if it puts out 375 hp. Good find.

The HP rating seems too high for the ingredients for sure.. Would like to see some dyno numbers...

prices seem good just wondering about quality etc. The other thing is that you can't view there feedback.
looking at the auctions tuff dawg has seems that the majority of sales is from parts and maybe 1/3 from engine sales. if that helps

the power ratings may be off but product seems solid,if i where to compare the products one from ar and one from tuff dawg they are two entirely different products the tuff dawg engine is very generic like a gm crate engine, then on the a.r.engine has alum ported heads, file fit rings and matching camshaft profiles that will make power.having bought gm crate engines already and the mundane power output really made my choice for custom buildup.the differnce was what you can feel at the seat of your pants,so i went with A.R.,now on my 5th engine and 3rd car,its all what one is really after, anyone can rate a engine at any power level but can they produce it !!!
