Ecklers Hatchback?
Do any of yall have a picture of the ecklers conversion for the sugar scoop years... the one that turns the car into a hatch back?
I'm looking for a picture of the back end, to see how a 68-77 would look with a flat rear window, just not in the way GM did it originally!
Thanks
The purple one was in Autin (Texas) at Corvette specialties and is also a wide body.
I think, I've read these used a Monza rear glass -- or was it a 240Z rear glass ---- not sure.
Do you have one? or know of one for sale?
I've always been interested in these. I'm also a Vette (station) wagon fan.

But what I am thinking about is trying to reduce the "stationwagon" effect that occurs behind the rear glass.
That and get a little more room for the downtubes on the roll bar I'm going to install! The rear deck doesnt give you much to work with!
I'm actually thinking to just go straight down the flying butresses (I believe thats what they are called...) with a thin piece of plexiglass. Probably not extending the butresses like the ecklers kit does, but just form fitting it to the car, and figure out how to mount it as I go!
My concern is that without the rear deck the back of the car would lose a good bit of its structure, so I'm not quite sure what kind of bracing could be used.

Edit: I guess the other hatchback is the Baldwin Motion Corvette Stage III with all of the body modifications. Wonder what they used for rear glass?
