Is this a standart replacement or a "race" clutch ?
Fourteen years ago I used a Sachs racing clutch in a VW, it was great but harsh when shifting... this website might be interessting for you:
I believe I installed a Sachs clutch in my 73 a number of years ago when I rebuilt the tranny. It was nothing special just a good stock replacement clutch. It has has performed well, hooks ok and stands up to the occational hole shots we all feel necessary to do. To date no complaints.
I ordered a tko 600 from Keisler along with a clutch. They arrived last week. Keisler sent a Sachs PC1877-02 Power Clutch $200 with a $15 disc upgrade. Found some info about it here http://www.lightruck.com/clutch_kits.asp
Clutch and tko 600 are going in with a rebuilt BB427, around 550hp.
I'm thinking of returning the Sachs and picking up a centerforce dual friction.
