I can remember my first encounter with a corvette. I was in 1966 I was 10 years old when I took my first ride. I can't hardly remember what happened yesterday but I can remember the smallest detail of that expierence 38 years ago. I can even remember the song that was playing on the radio.
From that point on I was hooked and have either owned a corvette or wanted to own one every day of my life since then.
Those kids will never forget you and that experience

Funny, there are a couple of kids about 8-10 on my street that always stop what they are doing and say "cool corvette" every time I come down the street in my Pace Car. One of these same kids came up to my garage one day and asked me if my motorcycle is a Suzuki. I was astounded because it has race plastics on and didn't even look like an identifiable street bike. I said "how did you know that?" He says "It looks like a Suzuki" he then turns and walks off
