Engine vibration ?
I have just completed a rebuild of my 350 and have a big vibration at around 2,500 rpm up. When it is sitting it vibrates and when driving. My mechanic thinks the new pressure plate is out of balance and a friend thinks there is a problem with the new Edelbrock heads.I checked the compresion #2 is 160 psi # 6 is 170psi and all the rest are 180psi
Does any one have some idears?

I think the problem has been found. after removing the trans ran the motor and she runs smooth. Then saw the pilot shaft end is out of round. So will remove it and send to the machine shop to true up then replace the crank bushing to a smaller hole to fit the newly turned shaft. I will post the results.
