Here is what I did. Sandblasted, prepped and painted with POR-15 and topcoated in ACE Banner Red.
Lot's of nice setups here - Looking good guys

vettenut, really like the way you color coordinated and executed. beautiful job. i used the por-15 also, also did the whole shell w/it, great stuff. i defintely need to refresh my rearview.
I just used a degreaser, let it dry and then I sprayed the Rust Bullet on with a touch up gun from Harbor Freight.
I think I spent more on the degreaser than the Rust Bullet. I bought the six-pack and only used 5 cans. I think it was less than $35
The chassis still looks great (this stuff is hard as rock) and its easy to clean (painted chassis)
as far as the color goes, What I was trying to achieve was to protect the underside and make it look nicer, you can paint over it if you want to change the color, but I left mine alone and like it.
Wow...so many great lookin azz's out there. After seeing all the color combos I think I'll go with silver & black POR-15.
There was lot's of gritty dirty hard work out there that you guys have done. Thanks to all who responded. Turbo discussion included!

You know, I was really proud of my rearend and all of you jerks gotta go and show me up. These pics are with the gas tank still dirty-just not detailed yet. Oh yeah, this was also with the TRW spring. I have a shortened VBP spring from Van Steel now and the half shafts sit level.
