I have an electrical capacitor on the side of my steering column, near the wiring harness connections. It's slightly crushed, and I'd like to replace it.
It says 802149, DR, 5 MF on the end. It has a black spade-type electrical connector.
I can't find a part # in any of my catalogs, but my assembly manual shows it as a "radio capacitor". I've long ago replaced the radio, so I'm wondering if I still need this capacitor? Anyone have a part number?

Reason: Updated info
The capacitor was not shipped as part of the steering column. I cannot find that a capacitor was added at the assembly plant on any of my AIM sheets.
However, I have looked all through my AIM books and I can't find where the body electrical harness is connected to the steering column ignition switch or the turn signal switch "harmonica" connector is connected to the body directional signal harness. I just might be missing some sheets. It might be possible that a capacitor could be called out on my missing sheet(s).
I did find a AIM sheet that called out two capacitors. It is UPC B01 to B12, sheet 32 of my 1975 - 1976 book. There is a capacitor across the directional signal flasher. That flasher is mounted under the dash on the passenger side. There is also a capacitor wired across the brake light switch. (I originally claimed that Bubba must have wired mine. Now I have found it in the AIM book.)
They are using the forward (toward the floor) Saginaw ignition switch mounting bolt to attach it. But it never left Saginaw with it installed. As long as you leave the rearward (toward the driver) ignition switch mounting bolt alone, you probably won't mess up the ignition switch adjustment.
I wonder if the earlier AIMs covered the installation?
