Was removeing my body mount bolts tonight and #1 drivers side I put a boxend wrench on top, thought it was resting against frame and went at nut with impact wrench. Then I saw all these cinders on the floor,oh sh-t thats not cinders, its my carbon canister just busted it with the wrench. Now where do I find a new one?????????????

I just removed mine during the body mount replacement.... I did not re-install it because it would be silly to have it in there with no vapor line from the tank...
Do i need it ? If not what else needs removed or changed?
This canister is emission related only.... the tank can "breathe" through a rubber hose that I connected to the tank (where the vapor line usually is)... that hose ends where the antenna is ... at the end I put a cheap paper fuel filter that restricts airflow into the tank when its not needed... the tank is 'breathing' through the aftermarket fuel cap anyway.... not sure if the original one has a valve in it...
I'm not sure if this vapor line can be just plugged when an aftermarket fuel cap with breather valve is being used....... it probably can, let's see what the other forum members say...
100% sure : nobody really needs this tank/canister....
