I was watching a video on CMT and saw this Darryl Worley video with this 68 Chevelle vert,
and I was wondering if anyone could think of any 2 door Chevy from 1966 to 1970 that was not a desirable car today?
Will we ever have a lineup like Corvette, Chevelle, Nova and Camaro again? Heck even my '66 Impala looked great!
Every Detroit manufacturer had hot cars during the 60's. A guy who lived nearby my house had a Fod Galaxy that he custom ordered. It was a plain-jane car - steel wheels with generic hubcaps, taxicab bench seats, beige paint. But, under the hood he had a 427 with dual 4-barrel carbs and a 4 speed stick. Probably a posi-traction rear end since he used to drag race it. You could order stuff like this from any dealer back then.

Yep, every one of our neibours seemed to have a hot car back then, well except for the guy with Rambler.
Even Mopar made some beauties during that period. Roadrunners and Coronets, late 60's Chargers, late 60's Barracudas....and in 1970, Mopar may have had the best looking line up of all of them.
If I had to pick one 2-door Chevy that didn't look too hot in the 66-70 period, it would have to be the Corvair, and even that wasn't too bad. They made up for it in the 70's though (as did everyone else) by making a ton of butt-ugly cars.

Actually the Corvair vert in the movie " Stuck on you " kinda looked okay.
