Default Plasma Cutters - experience ?

I'm looking at adding a plasma cutter to my set of tools.

I have narrowed the choices down to the Miller 375 or the Hobart 400 115/230 VAC units.

They use the same torch and consumables and I believe that they are from the same parent company. The capability looks right and they have a feature that makes cutting non-continious (Mesh or screen) material easier. I would like to stay with a name brand so that service and support is locally available. I dont do this kind of work for a living but I do serious fun projects !!

Does anyone here have experience with these units ?

Stick with Linclon, Miller, or Hobart they are all pretty good with customer service and support. I deal with Lincoln and Miller regularly on a professional basis as an inspector and can say from expierience that their tech. advise and trouble-shooting is pretty good where their products are concerned. As far as Hobart, the dealings I've had with their products has been on a smaller scale such as you are talking about (at home around the shop) and have had no trouble with their products or service. Either one of your choices seems good to me, just my 2 cents.
