Paint question... won't stick?
Real long story kind of short...
My hack painter screwed up my big block hood some how... looks like he stepped on it while in was on the ground? ANYWAY, I glassed the sides and patched the underneath center area. Here is my question...
When I put primer on it, the center could be seen. Like a very faint outline with tiny tiny bubbles. I wet sanded it again with 800 and it was silky smooth. I even went through the cheap paint butt head laid down and exposed some primer and original color.... I just rattle canned it so I can get it ready again... AND THE PAINT BUBBLES IN A WIERD PATTERN... KINDA OF LIKE A LONG "S" SHAPE? WHAT THE HELL... is there something like solvents still in the other layers? Why won't the primer lay down? I never seen anything like it?

some times you have to use a sealer before the primer....
