there are "blankets" made specifically to handle the heat genetated by engines and transmissions.

If Reflectix is the stuff with the bubbles in it, it did melt from my catayltic converter....
it is... and the Frost King wouldn't of held up either.

Well, I'm totally confused now. Sorry, but, what product CAN be used UNDER the TUNNEL, and what product(s) are used inside, and, OVER the TUNNEL?????

The product we get is not frost king but I assumed it was the same. It is Duct insulation from HOME Hardware. It is foam backed with aluminum coating , self adhesive and will not burn even we put very very close to hot headers, A friend did a test and with a propane torch on it it wouldn't burn.
I don't have a part number but will tomorrow when I pick up my order.
cool. The more choices... the better. Can you get the MFGR;s name and their part number; along with the stores part number?

Zeroclearance is expensive, but it is specifically designed for exterior automotive purposes including under vehicle, engine compartments etc....

How does the Frost King stuff stick to the panels? Do you use spray adhesive like the 3M stuff? Whta would a guy have invested for an entire interior? Thanks.
