Hey fellers, new guy to the forum here. I have a 76 L48 and according to the interior codes my interior is Firethorn, however it has white door panels and seats. My question is: is there any way that is stock? I dont think it is but the car only has 16xxx miles (which based on overall condition and an appraisal that came with it, I dont think there is any way it is 116xxx unless they replaced alot) and unless someone decided they liked the white better or started to turn it all white and ran out of money the original should not have been worn out.
Anyway, if any of you guys know alot about this stuff I would appreciate any info you have.

If interior code is firethorn but interior is white it has definitely been replaced. So if the interior has been replaced, I would guess that it isn't 16,000 original miles, either 116,000 or spedometer cable has been disconnected for awhile.

I have a wrecked 76 that I bought for parts and it has the dark red (firethorn?) interior with white deluxe door panels (firethorn carpet trim) and white seats. I beleive it to be factory stock.
Hi I have a 76, and it's original color is white, if you ever wanna sell your panels when you get red ones let me know My current panels are buckskin while original color was white...gotta hate bubbas
