Default Oil pan question from a C2 guy

Hello Shark people:
I feel like a High school kid in the wrong class. Even though you guys don't know that there is supposed to be a space between the word's Sting and Ray, we share a chassis that seperates us from the rest.
Anyway here's my question. I've been looking for an oil pan for my 65 327. I know the basics of what the oil pan should look like but as I look through Ebay I have noticed some pans listed as C3 pans that look like what I need. I'm looking for a 4+1 in the filter pan with a rear drain plug and left side dip stick buldge. Here is an example from ebay . Oil pan I was wondering from you guys what variatios of small block pans are on the C3's. Do any small blocks have drain plugs on the side or front? When did the dip stick change location? The discriptions on Ebay are sometimes written by people who dont know anything about Vettes so Im going to the experts. Thanks for the help.
