Frame advice....

It would be worth it if you can get as low a bid as possible, but $625 seems a little high to me....especially w/o the crossmember. If you do get it, be sure to have the A-Arm brackets welded to prevent any future problems. Even have them gusseted for more strength if budget and time will allow.
If you have a manual trans, you will need to get a clutch pivot bracket welded to the frame. You can get a bracket from Zip Products for about $15. Also if you do have a manual trans, you will need to find an automatic crossmember for the frame.... ask the seller if he will give you one.
There was also a picture of the differential... see if that is part of the deal.
Hope it goes well for you!!!

I've seen this frame on eBay before several times. I suspect there probably aren't a lot of buyers.
Rick B.
First, I would expect to pay around $500 for a decent frame with surface rust.
This one looks fairly solid but well rusted. Personal inspection
would be suggested for this frame. If it's not near you, then pass.
If you're patient, you will find one nearby at a reasonable price.
Keep posting wanted threads in the 4-sale section and here.
Keep watching Ebay.
Now, regarding the Ebay frame you show, I noticed something
that looks bad, but repairable. The passenger side lower control
arm bracket seems to have been cut or broken. Look closely at the
2 side in the picture. The one on the right is missing the end,
from what I can see.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

$1900 ain't cheap for a college guy. If I were you, I'd hold out for a
cheaper fixer-upper. Then again, I'm not you ...
Either that, or a junker vette with good frame ... part out the rest to recoup the cash.
