While prepairing the installation of the GM/T56 Viper transmission, I noticed, that the clutch fork + pivot ball are both worn and have deep marks. Also would need a new clutch fork boot.
Where to buy ?
SUMMIT offers some , P/N LAK-15500 & LAK-15501 ( Lakewood )
Would those fit on a GM alu bellhousing ?

Gunther, the Lakewood clutchfork looks exactly like a GM fork, only beefed up more for strength. The 15501 adjustable clutchfork stud works in a GM bellhousing-I used this when I converted my '75 to a 4spd last year.

That Lakewood fork (LAK-15500) looks NOTHING like any Corvette fork I have ever seen...(except for maybe a `63)...where is the slot for the short rod? and the holes for the pin??

That's funny- I used the whole Lakewood scattershield setup when converting the '79 from a 350/auto to a 502/6 speed- everything worked, and it fit the stock linkage setup fine....?? The adjustable pivot ball is especially nice.
I like the adjustable ball. I did a transmission swap for a guy this past summer and the stock ball wasn't long enough so we went to the adjustable one.
