Rear-end gear lube question

I am replacing my rear end currently in my 78 and was wondering what gear lube I should use? Is the posi fluid a 4 oz or 8 oz addition (can't remember.) I wanted to make sure I get the correct GM replacements...

Any specific weight or GM replacement part numbers?

Just "Mobil 1 Gear" - only comes in one flavor. Same for the additive - I don't remember the size, but it may be 4 OZ.

I use 90 wt gear oil,same as came from GM. You can use any 90 wt gear oil from an auto parts store or GM's # 1052271. I don't use syn oil in the differential. DO use the GM additive with the oil. Part # 1052358 avail from any GM dealer for about $7-$9 per bottle. 2 bottles would be good if the clutches are knocking.
