81 Intermitent wipers?

81 Intermitent wipers?
My wipers work OK with two speeds but how can I get the intermitent wipers work? I have tried turning the little **** but that does nothing just the two speeds work.???

Are you talking about the silver plug in module with the bunch of wires going to it through the console. I just found that today when I was spreading my interior out all over the garage. I had no idea what it was.
