Decided on the paint
Well went over to corvettegreg's place and he has quite a few chrome bumpers being restored and we talked for hours. You can see my pics on my homepage below but the bottom line is the paint though it has close to 90 rock chips/ scratches is quite beautiful and looks "show quality" 10' out. Given over 10 people have told me to spend my money elsewhere and re-think it after I get 2 more years out of the paint, i'll take their advise and hold off for a while. given there is nothing left to do aside from paint I'm goin to rehab the engine bays firewalls in Eastwood engine bay semi-gloss I just ordered 5
I'll also freshen up all the hoses, relays or whatever hangs on the firewall hopefully without overspraying the engine. Same hold true for my soft top lid which needs the same spraying and freshen up all the linkages which are beautiful silver oversprayed with cheap gloss black half flaked off. Well that's about it.
