"J" Engine Code??

It looks like a 72, (chrome both ends). I wanted the chrome bumper car. It apears to be a converted 73 to 72. I wonder if i should get a correct one to restore. Will it kill the value if I sell it later. I'm not doing it as an investment but, I don't want to loose a bunch of $$ do to this situation.

, but when I showed him my car-he asked why MINE is different . I said I don't mean to be rude, but YOURS is the one that's "different" 
He said he's owned the car over 6yrs & NOBODY has ever pointed that out before.It's situations like this that MAY happen to you, ESPECIALLY when you try to sell it-after all, look how confused you had all of us
