Well worth it, but I only paid 150 bucks for mine on sale from the last detail. A bunch of little squeeks and rattles went away after I installed it.

Default Weather Strip

Be careful where you buy this from. I purchased a pair for the doors on my convertible, when I dry tested them the door would not close. The forward end where it screws to the door body seemed different than the old piece. I returned them for credit and paid twice the price from Ecklers, they fit perfectly. You get what you pay for.

I went thru the same problems in 1998 when I replaced mine on the 82. The doors HAD to be slammed to shut, the windows wouldn't go all the way up without opening the door and the t-tops were damn near impossiable to latch with the aftermarket weatherstrip!!! I ended up buying all new GM stuff. It was all still available BUT it was GOD AWFUL expensive! You truly DO get what you pay for sometimes.

I replaced mine just last year with a mid priced brand. They seemed ok when first installed but then just after just a few months they became hard and sticky. I had to both slam the doors shut and pry them back open. I have just ordered a quality 'corvette rubber' set from Scott. Lesson learned...stay with your old original set until you can purchase quality.

opps...sorry. Did not know it was you also in the bidding. Yes, I got it yesterday and installed it last nite. Lots of small parts(old and new), but it went together easy.
