Exhaust question
I have Hooker super comps on my 454 and 2.5 " pips to Dynomax super turbo mufflers. The mufflers are 2.5 in and 2" out to accomidate factory exhaust tips which are 2". Is this setup too restrictive?

No not really. By the time the exhaust gets to the end it has cooled down and does not need the big pipes all the way out. I did mine although with 2 1/2 inch pipes in the factory rectanguer outlets. I had them break the tack welds for the 2 inch pipe going to the rectanguler piece and fit in a 2 1/2 inch piece of tubing. I t looks factory but is 2 1/2 inch all the way through.
