If the headlights are acting up on your Corvette then you may need to replace your vacuum check valve and filter.
The check valve is used to ensure that your headlights only get vacuum so they will stay open.

This package replaces original GM#3926296 & 5638432.

This 1968-1982 C3 Corvette headlight repair kit is the most accurate and complete kit on the market.
This kit contains:

- 2 Actuator Rod Seals
- 2 Boots, and

This replacement vacuum actuator relay was used on 1968-1982 headlights and 1968-1972 wiper systems.
This relay mounts between the headlight assemblies or on the cowl/RH fender for the wiper vacuum system.
Controls vacuum going to actuator cannister to raise & lower headlight doors or wiper door assembly.



The C3 Corvette was one of the best body styles to ever be built by General Motors, curves in the flow of the car were and are spectacular.
Perhaps one of the downfalls or just one of the problems, in general, is the fact the hideaway headlights do fail and can create a problem both in terms of looks but also safety.
Our vacuum actuator relay valve is one of the common parts that fail and often need to be replaced.

Note: Vacuum hoses attach to the relay from the outboard ports to the inside.
The center port is longer and the original hose installed on the center port was not installed as deep as the outboard ports.
