Default Wtb 68-72

Let's start again, with your assistance please. I have enjoyed the search so far, it has been educational, I've met some really nice forum members, met some really nice vette owners, met some interesting people. No luck with eBay, lots of reserve not met cars. I am looking for a 68-72, slight preference to the earlier models.
I would like to be in the 15-20K range.
I'm not a mechanic, so no projects please.
Thanks
David

$15-20k for this year range means you better be some kind of a mechanic or paint/body man.
If you're leaning toward the earlier 68-70's, you need to up your $ a little and you'll probably have better luck.
I offer you a 69 Coupe, small block 350/300, #'s matching, Daytona Yellow w/leather int(not original), unrestored driver, 4 spd, undocumented 66k miles, non working a/c, ps, man. brakes(all new), new gas tank, rad.support frame, just finished tune-up and new t-stat. Runs great, showed it all summer w/ 1 Best-in-Show trophy.
$24k Firm, If interested PM me.

I may in fact find that I cannot find an early car in that range, but I will look and compare. Good looking vette by the way.

I will keep an eye out in my area for you. I am only 2 hrs from you.

They are out there. I have a friend that bought a '71 from "Jake's Forgotton Past" there in Richmond for 9.5K.

I just bought a '71 from my neighbor for 9K.

Both are unrestored(but modded non-matching numbers) but drivers.

You arn't out of line.15-20k,and alittle patience will get you a nice 68-72.Take 20k cash w/you,and it will buy you a 24-25k bumper car.Economy is a f@%ked up,winter's coming w/X-mas,and big stacks of cash speak very loud!!!!I would try to get one from the forum,or only off ebay,if you are able to go see i9t in person,or have someone check it out for you. They are out there.....

He turns a lot of inventory. Never a complaint that I know of. When I was fooling with Camaros we had several conversations. And, I appreciate the help.

His prices are rediculous for what the cars are.
I have tried to deal with him before, I don't think he gets the prices he advertises or at least for the buyer I hope not!!!!

I haven't looked at the retail stuff in years. He always had a really nice personal car or two.

But, back to the project at hand, I'm still looking for a good looking driver vette.

I saw that Bob, nice price, but he took a car color I like and covered it up with one I don't. And I will state for the record that I LOVE your car. Not enough pennies in my play account. Now if you get to feeling charitable...

I have some shotguns I could swap, maybe a pup.
