Interested in getting any bites on my 73 conv't with L-48, 4spd,
PDB, A/C, AM/FM, Posi, .Paint is 947 Elkhart Green with Std Black int and original top. Car has that 4 star survivor look with nice
24 year old lacquer, mostly original int, glass, engine bay and chassis.Just drove trouble free 900 mi to NCRS Novi Regional Meet
and "earned" top flight.Yes, there is some nicks and chips and old seats etc, etc but I drive it whenever its nice out. A deal will include many new and original parts, sales brouchures, manuals, car cover,
build sheet, huge receipt file and other supporting documents. I've met my goal with this car and now its time to move on. I can email
photos to post if interested or email me your # and I'll call you back .This car deserves to go further but I already have a Duntov
and Triple Crown Award and want to pursue other interests.

My 1st F/S post. Bear with me. Would like to get $27,500.00 which
includes lots of new stuff IE Al Knoch seat covers, buns, stainless
exh tips , bezels, lic frame, fuel pump, alternator, Dr Rebuild Vac set,
Poly rear struts, dust sheilds, side mirror + more I can't remember
and most all the original parts replaced with new IE water pump, heater core, rear spring, rotors, sill plates, hood mat, tach cluster, dist, exh exts, taken off by the previous beyond fussy owner.
Even the original AC spark plugs. Not counting lots paperwork, AIM,
new judging man, ref books, sales brouchures that I obtained on my quest for Top Flight. Since I don't follow the forum on a regular basis, its best to Email directly : tspence1@cogeco.ca ...hope this helps somewhat.

Unless you have never attempted a Top Flight Award, you have no idea the work and effort required to earn one. Now try and do that with a survivor /driver like I just did. With a little help and some changes, this car could PV and then qualify for a Duntov for way less than $50,000.00 or even $40,000.00 for that matter and you can drive this car to the National. I must be in the wrong Forum.

I have never seen a lugage rack like that one. What type is it. I'm not trying to cause trouble, I love the car. I am just curious and looking to learn a little more about the variations of accessories available in 73. I also have the passenger side mirror which some people tell me is incorrect.
If it is incorrect then why would they sell a replacement?

As far as I can tell it was replaced earlier from another one with 6
mounting holes in it. At least from a judging perspective, you will only lose 4 points + 1 for the P/Side mirror on body damage(drilled holes). Body judge said he had never seen another like it either but this is definately the one to have points wise. Personally if it dosn't fit on the floor, I leave it home. My P/side mirror is the same as the D/side except no DMI logo.See if yours is dimensionally the same.
Lots of replacement items are not totally correct but they keep making them and selling them anyways.
