Beautiful Vette, Glenn! I'm a native of your neck of the woods, Stony Point, New York. Looks like some shots of the Hudson River area. When I was living up your way, My wife and I used to ride our motorcycle or drive our Vette through Peekskill and up to Poughkeepsie. One of the most interesting places in the Country. John

Beautiful car. I thought black was the only color for me, but this car could change my mind. I wish I were ready to buy.

Hi John,
This is a great area of the Hudson Valley to live. An hour from NYC, an hour to the ski slopes, plus the historic aspect.

Me too!
I love the color also. You don't see many, but this was the most popular color in 1970.

If I still have the vette, I'll be there in two weeks.

Sir I had mine on here for a almost a yr. before it sold and then had dropped the price to ridicoulus. Think selling it might be easier if you parked it somewhere to be seen by alot of people. I tried that and had alot more lookers but most were just that lookers.
Mine was a 76 with complete restoration from frame up. Beautiful paint job, motor had less than 500mi. car had less since restoration. Won numerous shows and had paperwork and placques to prove it. Car was all original except block. But still no one would give even 17k for it on here sold it outright by word of mouth to someone that knew what these things cost to rebuild or restore and still only got 2/3-1/2 of what i had in it. I have watched alot of cars on here and mine IMO was better than most and at shows VETTE SHOW ONLY out of 135 Vettes won best paint, best in class and best show car. Still could not sell it lol. If you wait long enough someone will appreciate what you have as much as you do. I bought mine in a wrecking yard and redid just about everything. Even the underneath was mainly new just did not do restoration work on it to make it look new. Hope you seel your car and just don't go down to low before trying other venues. Sitting it in a parking lot might do better than this forum. Alot of these folks say they know what a car is worth and they did not get close on mine and thought i was way out of line in asking price. Just don't listen to any of the naysayers and get what you want and need out of her. Beautful car with some great upgrades. Mine was the 76 t-top coupe lowered it to 15k here and then sold it outright for 22k and did not get a bite even at 15 on here. Good luck sir.

Thanks for your comments. I have gotten a few calls after I attended a very large, weekly, local cruise. Also got a call when I had it it a lot for 15 minuets. There's a gentleman who's very interested, from the forum. He will have someone inspect it for him, and we'll see.
