Hello! I am looking for my dads old C3.

L48 w/ 350
Red exterior
Black leather interior
Chrome Luggage Rack
California Blue Plates #xxxNRT

I don't have the VIN but maybe my dad does somewhere. My wife and I are looking to see if the current owner is willing to sell it back to us!

We had it in Orange County, CA when we sold it. My LAPD friend suggested going to the DMV and filling out a form which will release current owners information for a small fee. I am going to do that but wanted to post here first to see if the owner has been here or if it has been seen.

I checked the smog history with the LP # that I memorized. It was last smogged in 2014 and failed and doesn't look like it was tested again. It may be in someone's garage!
Just a long shot.

How long ago did your Dad sell the car? I have a red 1976 L48 that was purchased new in California and the title was transferred to Arizona 9 years ago.

Around 2001 but it was last smogged in California in 2014 (and failed). Don't think you have the same vehicle.
