I really love that color, had one of the 110 built with a 6 speed in 1990. Still miss that car but my LT4 takes away most of the pain

I have a '91 charcoal coupe. Mine was "keyed" (scratched) by some moron before I bought it. Had a devil of a time finding anyone to sell me a pint of "charcoal metallic" paint to fix the scratches with. Finally I discovered that GM made a color called "Smoke Gray Metallic" that they used interchangeably with Charcoal. Charcoal is not often available. Smoke Gray is available all over the place. I bought some, used it, and can not tell any difference in the color. Great car! Great color! Best of luck with yours!

So what does this mean for the value of cars in this color? There were 1,003 Competition Yellow cars made in 1995 (my year and color) and mine is a six speed to boot. As discussed in another thread, it seems as though the rarity of a color doesn't have much to do with value.
