Coolant reserve tanks

I have glanced around the web .. and currently in the process of finding somwhere that will replace the coolant reserve tank (plastic) with somthing a bit more reliable.

for othose reading imy overheating post .. i MAY have a leak around portion where its plastic meets metal, just under the pressure cap...

I dunno its its all of my problem .. but its not gonna help it ...

anyone found a good drop in replacement that durable?

IE not cheap plastic...

ohh and yah i should have mentioned that .. NOT the overflow ...
Its the surge tank (upper tank with everything connected to it

Just to ensure correct terms and components, there is the overflow tank ahead of the right front wheel and the surge tank passenger side firewall. Both are plastic.

seering-had to replace the surge tank on my 91 awhile back,and I think there all plastic.Wasn't that expensive and real easy to change compared to other vette projects.

Seen some real nice coolant tanks on ebay last night. These were aluminum made by Canton, they make oil pans too. Looked nice. Considering one myself.
