that gives me goosebumps! there's something about seeing your car take on a brand new skin! there is SOO much work involved to make it look like yours does!
She's going to be one beautiful ride!!! The paint looks like it's going to be a mile deep! Please post some completed pics.
VERY NICE!!!!
thankyou very much! he said once he buffed her out it would look wet and deep i will definitely be posting the finshed for now pics
Seeing yours stripped like that turned on the memory pictures! I can still hear the DA grinding away the old paint, and seeing it in the booth being re-srpayed. I have it being painted on dvd.
You're not going to be able to stop grinning when it's done!

for once being red you would never know it. they done one fine job. fine color choice to
Tell me, you're not putting the rear wing back on there are you? One thing with fiberglass(I learned the hard way with my emblem holes) it is a notorious material for showing ANY bodywork/body filler etc. I've seen quite a few cars with wings on them before...supposedly the body filler was good and it showed right through on the new paint.
yes i am replacing the wing has 6 holes in the bumper plus i like it i know there is a lot on here that doesnt but it's my personal preference. i decided against the ground effects so you all ought to be proud of me there

Haha.. yeah, gj on no ground effects
I know it's a free country and all, but no kit I've seen so far adds anything positive to these cars;
I've seen some Z cars with cool body kits, miatas, etc - it enhances them a little. On the vette however they just look tacked on, and scream "I wish it was something else" - sorta like those 'vettarosa' and 'C4->C5' conversion people..
But hey, I don't like tattoos on girls - and i know some people do. To me when you get her naked, it's like she's not really naked if there's stuff on her back/arms/etc And I can't take anymore off!
I'm really looking forward to viewing the finished product
me too my first day back to work today so i didnt get to see it buffed out. he was doing that today and starting to put it back together tommorrow so a couple more days for completed pics
Looking forward to some pics of this one. Won't be able to make it on Wed. but will see it at the next club meeting (I hope).
well hope to see it soon. here is the next thing were doing with the club right up there in your neck of woods. maybe we could meet at this event.

be careful re assembling her. it's VERY easy to make a mistake and scratch the new finish. it was next to impossible to keep mine from scratching seeing it sat at the body shop and they used the da near it after it was done. a bit upsetting seeing white primer dust on brand new paint.
good to hear on the wing. hopefully nothing shows on yours...i tried to have the hood and rear emblem on the gas door filled and we saw the holes right after the paint was done.
