you know that side light on the corner of ur car that turns on solid when ur blinker is on? is there a way i can tie this into my blinker another way.... i would like my front blinker to be on at its strongest(brightest) when i have my running lights one. AS WELL AS my side marker. the side marker can stay one solid but when i hit my blinker i want the front one to blink but when the blinker is off i want it to stay at its brightest instead of switching back down to a lower wattage setting. does this make sense? has anybody done this?
So, if I understand you correctly, our "blinker" have two "brightness levels"... When you have your DRLs on, they're on the lower brightness. When the blinkers turn on, it flashes between the lower brightness and a brighter one (boy, I'm getting sick of typing the word "bright" - it's starting to not sound like a word).
What you want to do, is have the DRLs on the brightest setting, right? As if your turn signal blinked once and got stuck?
The cornering lamps are tied into the turn signal circuit but don't go thru the flasher side of the circuit. The turn signal/park bulbs have two filaments and each is lighted by a separate circuit.
Unless you could find a bulb that had two filaments of equal brightness, it would be pretty difficult to get the park/turn bulbs to appear the same when they are on and it probably would not look right when the turn signal is in use.
