Sorry I don't know if the bid price is dirt cheap in your market..but that's about the only way I'd touch that car.

The pics show it to be a neglected car, and that usually means lots of money. I'm a picky Vette owner and I see thousands of dollars just in those pics on what I'd have to do to be satisfied.

Also...I guess you have another criteria in your decision because I'd bet there just aren't that many Vettes in your neck of the world.

If you have the time and the cash (and the patience), go for it.

well then do it, if you have the money it wouldnt be a bad thing to have laying around, but usually if someone has to ask if they should by something and then they buy it they regret it later.

I told him it was his choice. But he didn't get it so it wasn't meant to be.

I was thinking of a nice way to put it, but the above says it all. Let that one "ROLL."

Its about $4190.93 at todays exchange rate , I did'nt want to pay anymore than £1750.00 for it so I was'nt too disapointed when it went up that high .
You have to remember here in the UK vettes are few and far between so they allways make good money, a vette as clean as my 1990 6speed ( see avatar ) with low milage on it like mine 27k will make as much as £12000.00 thats about $22800.00 !!!!!!!!

Even as spares this vette would have made good money, a friend of mine has just bought a hood for his 87 and had to pay nearly £1000.00 for it.

I just could'nt make up my mind to go for it or not thats why I posted it here , I just was'nt ment to have it in the end , there will be another along sometime in the future.

Many thanks for all the replies
