The original thread is being cleaned up... apparently last night some jerk came in and posted things in there that were very offensive. Thankfully i was in bed and didn't see it.

The brick thread is here
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...8&page=1&pp=20

The original thread will be a sticky in off topic when it's been cleaned up.

Thanks again guys.

April

Thank you both! DC has been all over this forum pushing... he's gone til Saturday I'm not so good at pushing but I promised him I'd give it a try.

So far my quoting you is my major leap.

Thank you Perfusion, for your donation and your post!

Bad news :'(

I called Stephanie (thinking that over the last 3-4 days she'd gotten calls) and we're still at 160.00 at the museum

I just deposited 455.94 and have 312.00 on it's way to my account so I can call Stephanie to deposit it there..and so far undeposited in my paypal account 75.00. That puts us at 1000.00.

Not too bad at all but I didn't feel right leaving it "at the half way point" when we're not there.

But we're VERY close!

I've gotten many messages asking for info so they could send checks.. so perhaps with those we're 1/2 way there

It wouldn't suck to be able to place this at the CI. I'd really like for it to be placed at a time when you all were there so you could see where your donation went.

One more time, you guys are the greatest! Mom and I are VERY excited about how this is going so far... I can't even tell you.

PS... I'm not doing anything that Isaac wouldn't have done for me. But I feel like there are things I'm NOT doing that he would have done. I just don't know what those things are right now...

Like my neckleace... it'll come to me..

A story..

I'm wearing a necklace right now that I saw while at the Flatirons mall when Isaac and I were there.. I dragged him into the store and told the woman to wrap it up. (it's a fairly think silver chain with a heart at teh end with the hole above it where you stick a rod through it to clasp it...)

We went STRAIGHT to things remembered to have it engraved. I took it out of the bag and out of the box and put the chain on the counter and asked if they could engrave it... they could... so I looked at Isaac and said "What sould I have put on there?" He said "I dunno..." So I picked it up and looked at him and said "It'll come to me...

On the 29th of January (2 days after the accident) I had it engraved... the front says "Isaac" with a heart under ut and the back says "1-27-05"

Let's go back to the day of the accident... I'd ogtten a pair of 1/2 carat diamond earrings Dec 5th... They've never so much as come loose... well at some point that morning I lost one. I found the back to an earring under my computer chair (I haven't changed earrings since Dec 5th)... I thought it was the back to THE earring... I spent a decent amount of time on my knees "sweeping" the carpet in case it had been stepped on and had been pused down... now luck...

Brian spent 4-5 hours scouring this room... nothing.

The day I had the necklace engraved I put it on... an hour later my necklace showed up sitting ON TOP of the carpet in the 2nd highest traffic place in my house. Smack in the middle of the walkway. There is NO way it had been overlooked...

I was told the day before that Isaac had my earring and would give it back (this coming from someone who didn't even KNOW I'd lost it).

So I put the necklace on and not 10 minutes later the earring was sitting on TOP of the carpet.. it hadn't been stepped on...

Make whatever you want of that story...

But I believe that he DID have it (how in the hell did the person who told me that even KNOW that I'd lost one... I'd never talked to them before and so on and so on...)

I haven't taken it off since even for a minute.

Brian understands my friendship with Isaac and has no problem at ALL with me wearing it.

I have other necklaces I love but will never wear again. I don't care. Silver looks good with anything..

So it "came to me" before.. it'll come to me again...

I've notied that with time I'm remembering more details of our time together better and better. Not just remarkable conversations but the sound of his laugh, his facial expressions, his little things that made him *Isaac*. That's what I look forward to every day. More details.

PSS
The necklace... I told her to wrap it up and took out my CC and Isaac took out his...he wanted to pay for it. I wouldn't let him..

That next day after he left I found 80.00 sitting on the keyboard... he was BENT on getting it for me... We've fought over these things before and some I've won and soem I've lost... I'll hise the money in his car and he'd hide it here and I'd hide it in his jacket or in his store and so on...

I lost this one.

That was **Isaac**
