I like my C4-no, I love it, but I sure would love a Viper too. No, they don't ride as good as a C4, but neither did a C1 or C2. I think there a cool looking and very fast ride.

Hmmmm; about the part about the Viper being a Dodge, & that being a hurdle to overcome?. I`m on my third `Vette, & I love `em to death, but I once had a `69 383 Plymouth Road Runner, & a `70 340 Dodge Dart. I miss both of them. I might be wrong, but I believe that either one of them, stock for stock, would have taken my present `87 in the 1/4 mile. The point is that MOPARs were great performance cars, & nowadays, that would include the Viper. I would own/drive a Viper in a skinute ( thats less that a minute )
Hey the whole Dodge thing is just my opinion. I've never been a Mopar fan. Can I really tell you why? Nope, just never been impressed.
My dad raced Super Stock back in the 60's and sponsored by Mopar, he still can't understand why I like Chevy over a Mopar. Yep he always has to tell me there is nothing like a HEMI. Mopars are cool but not for me, is a Viper my dream car, well no, the only car that I have driven that really made my head spin was a 1 out of 5 built Shelby Series 1 Supercharged. Its a hang on! ***** to walls! small cu in small block that feels like the biggest big block ever made. Just my two cents

Wow. That's stunning. You need to hang out with some Mopar guys... the vintage cars are insane. From 1967 to 1972, Mopar could do no wrong. They had some of the strongest motors (440, 426 Hemi, 340 6-pack) and best transmissions (4sp manual, 727 auto) that not many could touch them.
They also had some of the best looking cars, the 68 Charger, the 70 Challenger and Cuda...

I really respect Dodge for the fact that they tend to make their own rules. They are innovators in design and have produced some cars that were second to none in their time. Though most Dodge styling is not to my taste, but at least they aren't japanese cookie cutter cars...
