Default ...new roof......

...just received my new roof, getting ready to put it on and see how it looks. from all of you that has experience in this......my next question is, ........since i am a clean freak, what type of cloth/cleaner do i use to clean this acrylic with?

I just wash mine and use the same wax as the rest of the vette.

Dense fiber cloth (mine are blue) and warm soapy water are what is recommended to clean acrylic. If it is a painted top use the same cloth and what you use to clean you car and you can use wax on it after 30 days( never know when the supplier painted it). I would not recommend using wax on a acrylic top.

Yep same here pretty much with a new top. Since I use Zaino it gets washed just as normal and polished the same. (Heck I do the rear hatch window too.) I've found that stuff like windex seems to leave smears on the inside, so I've gone to using the remaining wet wash wrap and wipe it down then use a diaper soft cloth to dry. Soft cloths seem less abrasive then paper towels. I'd like to try a micro fiber cloth I hear they are very good.

What I have found to work well is (acrylic) #18 plastic cleaner and then the plastic polish (#10? both Maguires)Awesome combo on vert. plastic back windowsas well
Painted I agree with the above ZAINO ZAINO ZAINO can,t say enough good things about this prod.!
