the lt4 has different rockers and a couple other things and makes 30 more HP but the lt1 and lt4 both produce 340lbs of torque.
another thing is the lt4 was only offered in 6sps and in only 96 6sps at that so 96 autos = lt1 and 96 6sps = lt4
I have driven the lt4s and I own a lt1 95 I personally couldn't tell the difference but mine is a auto which might be why I couldn't compare them as good but mine pulls just as hard and felt quicker to me.
it depends, like a low optioned or any lt4 coupe is going to bring way less than a lt1 convertible. I guess if you WANT a 6sp and have 95 lt1 6sp that is the exact same car beside it the lt4 option will bring a little more.

I would say closer to $2,000 to $3,000 more.
The LT-4 is a very desired engine, plus all of them have to be mated with the 6-speed. That alone is $1,000 extra value.
