Keyless entry on 94 quit working

Keyless entry on 94 quit working
The keyless entry on my 94 quit. I changed the battery in the remote but that didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have broken? What else does the keyless entry system consist of? I'd appreciate any info.

The remote itself could have broken or the receiver could be bad. If you have a spare remote and you should, try it. If it works, then your remote's bad. If your other remote doesn't work, then you need to look further. Also, check the fuse. Make sure it's not blown.
