Dash Kit ??

Anybody try those DIY Dash Kits that you glue on? My shifter plate needs replaced and you can't hardly find them without paying big bucks.

Mine is a 91. The vinyl kit works good. This is not coming off, make sure it fits right before applying, once it sticks it it's on. Make sure surfaces are CLEAN. Use denatured alchohol, not the drinkable stuff to clean surface.

Here is a partial pic from my ongoing stereo project. My car came with a wood kit. It wasn't my style and underneath was worse so i got a carbon fibre one.

Man - I like that a lot! My '88 has a rather cheap looking "plasti-wood" set that I've been thinking about replacing. Where did the Carbon Fiber set come from?
