LT4 intake paint?

LT4 intake paint?
is it actual red paint on the LT4 intake manifold? if so then i assume its GM paint? can i get a part number for this? i would really like to paint my valve covers the same color i think. if i cant find the same paint i guess i will have to find some high temp paint that closely matches it and repaint both. thanks for your help

you dont really need high temp paint....I painted my intake years ago with a small can of enamal from Wal Mart...intakes and valve covers dont get hot enough to blister paint...same with brake calipers.....

I painted mine with regular paint and had no problem. Should not get hot enough to require heat proof paint, but certainly can't hurt it.

Any good quality spray paint (not the 99 cent stuff) will work for you. The caps give a pretty good indication of the final color. I bought mine at Lowe's because they had good selection of red colors.
