Adding a Brace
Has anyone added the convertibles frame brace to their coupe?? Or is buying a X-Brace a better way to go? I just want to stiffen up the chassis when I have the top off. I thought about one of those braces that goes in place of the top, but I don't want to carry around anything.
And how much ground clearance do you lose?
I've got the Cross Frame from www.r-dracing.com it really stiffens up the car. Its stronger then the factory brace. You'll lose some ground clearance, I'm not sure since I lowered my car also. Dave at R-D has the option of shipping it two ways, if you have acces to a welder, you can get aversion that gives you better ground clearance.

I know you wanted to know about x- bracing but I wanted to tell you of the camber-brace. I installed this brace last year and I feel that it does what the ad says it will do. If you have not hear of this product look at the midamerica catalog. The part number is 612-225 or go on there website. www.mamotorworks.com
