Hi everybody.....Great site you have here. By far the best one on the net. Well I bought my first vett about a week ago and Im in love. Its a 1996 Arctic white coupe on black with the LT-4 Grand Sport motor and of course the 6 speed tranny. It has 78k with a 12 piece Greenwood body kit, aftermarket exhaust, and hand done pin striping. It almost looks like a new car. I paid 17k for it. I thought at first that the miles where too high, but then I drove it and it runs like a champ. I cannot tell what exhaust it has on it, but its not the stock set-up. Its way too loud with a very nice deep rumble. Well thought I would share my enjoyment . Later guys...
Welcom great choice we will need to see some picks. The lt4 is a great motor. Itle go like a scalded ape. Take your time getting familar with it and have fun
Might want to ask the seller if he installed an after market exhaust system, or get pics and post them on here. These guys will know real quick what you have.
Thanks for all quick welcomes. I would love to post some pics for you guys, but I dont have a digi cam anymore. I will see what I can do. I have a question for anyone who knows. My power antenna will not move the antenna up or down. When you turn the radio on all you can hear is the motor working almost like it fell off track or something. And also how do you get under this car to do your own services? Thanks
Welcome Rane....Great car.....The best Vette ever (IMHO)......you might make a separate post entitled "antenna" problems...These guys will talk you thru any problem and how to fix it...You'll love this addictive forum....As for getting under the car there is a lot of controversy on how to lift the car with out damaging your new baby...You might post a question about that too before you do it.
Good luck and Congrats!!!!
Welcome to the Forum.
There was a recent thread on how to lift your car called "LETS GET THIS SETTLED" or something along those line. It should give you some idea.
Have fun with your new toy.

Welcome to CF... this is an awesome forum with all kinds of personality. The LT4 is a wicked mill and it sounds like you have an awesome car. I too hope to see pics. I agree that it sounds like your antenna is shot, but that is an easy fix. There are a few people parting out cars in the parts marketplace... you might want to post a thread over there stating what you are looking for. Many of us gladly help one an other
Make sure to read the FAQ sticky and get yourself a Helms manual... those are bibles to these cars. Good luck with your ride and make sure to
Welcome aboard! I can see that you are hitting the ground running, and you've got a great car to begin the madness. Ask away, great group of guys, and the best forum on the net.
