You are 100% right, it's a very common mistake. I vette owner at a cruise night insist he had a 40th anniversary Ruby. When I walked over to his car it was a 1993 Dark Red Metallic, very slight diff in paint shade but the DRM is NOT a 40th anniversary. Actually a DRM is far more rare than a Ruby as 6749 Rubies were made and only 325 DRM in 1993
