Default Tire Pressure

I searched but couldnt find any prior posts. Stock 94 cpe Goodyear Eagles, what is a "normal" tire pressure to run for eveyday driving????

Thats a personal question. It usually opens up a hornets nest. You're going to get quite a few correct answers. I like 38 pounds, many like around 35. You should stay with the tire manufactures specs.

I was looking for an answer to this question last summer. The tire manufacturers seem to all recommend the car manufacturers specs.

On the drivers side door are the manufacturers recommendations. On mine it says 30 psi. I had been running 34 and since I reduced it to 30, the car rides better.

i think that it depends more on the tire than anything else. if you over inflate, the center will wear faster than the outer edge. underinflate and the edges wear before the center. i used to run at 33, but 30 makes the tires wear evenly.

Yes, the door sticker says normal driving is 30psi.
That's a pretty good place to start....
Change it only if you have the need to.

I guess it also depends on what type of driving you're going to be doing. Sustained high speeds need higher pressures. For street driving I would say 30-35 would be fine.
