Is anyone here running the C5 wheels on their C4's?
It looks like my wife is getting me a set of the 18" rear and 17" front wheels from a C5 for our 7th wedding anniversary (I bought her pearls - guess I better go make some more purchases!).
Any problems with them - any issues in rubbing and the like?
I plan on autocrossing the car (if I ever get the time to do so) and wonder if there will be any probs.
I believe you will be fine, the only problem will be whether or not you will have to run spacers.
If you are 84-87 you will have to run spacers. But that is the only problem. At least that I am aware of.
You will need 'adapters', not spacers, especially if you are going to autocross. Adapters bolt on to your existing studs and have their own built in to secure the wheel -- spacers slip over your studs and the wheel bolts the existing studs; which means you need longer ones or have very little thread left for the lugs. Either way, not as good as adapters. I use 1 1/4" adapters on mine. I've had them on for a little over 4 years and with 454 ftlbs torque at the rear wheel, I haven't had any problems -- plus I like the way the look ...

i checked on some for mine and if it is a 96 i should work fine with no adapters from what i was told
