my exterior looks like that right now because the car is in the paint shop with the hood and bumpers off being sprayed thank god I'm not putting it back together myself though lol good luck with that
you take apart and tear down guys are amazing. i commend you. i would never do it. among many things, i lack the patience. you da' man. all of you who can do this. congrats..
Man I feel a lot better about my tear down after seeing those pictures. Good luck and go all the way since you are this far. Make her scream like a raped ape.
normally i would say another one bites the dust seeing those pics and considering a 17 yr old tore that apart.
but if you keep at it like you have done so far it should come together fine.
figure out where you want to be at the end of the day,get there, clean up the tools and put them away, take some pics for the forum
good looking work so far.
how about some pics of the parts pile?
if your shooting for 900 hp why did you take the motor apart in the car instead of pulling it first and hanging it on a stand?
the motor is torn apart inside the car, because of space constraints ( i have 8 cars at my house, and the garage is full) so till i get my mustang put back together with its 660horse 431 strokekr and 5 spd, i cant put the motor and trans anywhere.
ZF, yea it was red, then polo green then black...lol its goin black, im gonna reapint the interior aswell. and im paintin the cage gloss red. It should be dun before winter this year. gotta finish the stang first. - Roger
and just for the record, i may be 17, but i restore corvettes,(as my profession) and i paint them too, i know what im doin...lol ( not the ordinary 17 yr old...haha)
hey roger,
you been busy man. doesn't sound like the car is gonna be ready for carlisle. better get on the ball, i wanna see that thing.
aren't you going to need those uprights behind the seats to go to the frame?
