Awhile back, I saw a post reguarding a device to raise the back hatch on the coupes to relieve the buffeting you get with the windows down and or the top off. I sent for it from a place in Canada called www.corvettegadgetman.com. It cost about $20. Well it was 85 here today in NC so I installed it. Very easy, and it allows all the car locks and security to kepp working. I did not have the top off, but with both windows open, it sure made a difference. No more buffeting, just a flow of air. Hatch stayed rigid. There was a warning in the instructions reguarding operation with the top on, and the possibilites of exhaust fumes. But I was moving and with both windows open didn't think there would be a problem. I have both tops for the car and the wife person says we have to swap out the glass top because it is too hot for her with the glass one. Yes dear.
I bought an EZ-Vent from Corvettegadgetman as well... Love mine - use it all the time. Its added benefit, that most people don't mention, is the increased sound you get of your mufflers! I like my Corsas and all, but *damn* do they sound better with that vent in! I can actually hear 'em!
