your wife or girl friend drive the Vette ?? This is my DD but I guess she just likes to take it now and then to say: "Hey this is cool" kind of thing. Heck I do that all the time when I go to work. But I do worry , cause she works down town LA. Lots of sorry a$$ people there that would love to carjack, easy to replace the Vette but not your mate. She is pretty smart as to where to park and what roads to take. When we are out weekend cruzzin I always drive, she likes to sit back and enjoy.

I actually bought my vette because of my wife. I've always been a Trans Am fan with an appreciation for Corvettes. After driving one... I had to own one. I'd honestly have to say it is our car... not just mine. We car pool to work, but I drive it more than her as it is my only trasportation when we are not together. At least my wife approves of my addiction. She made me quit my crack habit
Never! She does not like it. She wanted me to buy a C5. She says the C4 is to hard to get in and out off and she does not like the 6-speed. Plus with the B&B exhaust its to loud for her. However she did drive my previous C4's which were automatics once in a while. She would rather drive her SUV.
My wife likes going out in the vette for a night on the town. Therefore, I'm the one driving all the time. However, there have been times that I have asked her to drive the vette so that I could see it on the road see how it looks while driving behind it or on the side. She still has not done that.
I have to admit that my baby is somewhat a garage queen. But when we do take it out it will NEVER get anywhere near Downtown Detroit. I stay in the burbs with my ride.
Going to downtown LA with my vette doesn't sound to good to me either.
yeah my girlfriend has drove my 86 like 2 times i believe and that's it. she's scared of the sound of the exhaust she doesn't even like to ride with me because she says it sounds like were going way faster than we are. and i think the last time she rode with me was in the rain....need i say more
Once. Her car had a flat. She had to take my youngest daughter to school and couldn't get their. My 5 year old says, We'll just take the vette. My wife calls me and told me what she said. I had to have a few words with the 5 year old when I got home!
My wife has drove it once.
And have been a passanger about 3 times since I owned it in 2001. My Daugher has been in the passanger seat many more time and she only 3
My wife has shown no interest in driving my Corvette. For some reason, and I like it, she does not feel comfortable driving it. She's never even tried.
