The offender looks just like a neighborhood tomcat I dubbed "Butter Screech" (butter scotch coloring but a screechy meow voice).

It's funny sometimes, but it's not harmless. Our cat scratched my SS with his claws, and has now scratched the rear quarters of the vette. Apparently when he decides to jump up on the car from the rear quarter area, he peels out while going up the side, and has scratched all the way through the paint.... I gotta find some way for climbing on my car to become a very negative experience for him...

The reason for that is while it's still a cute kitty kitty, they kill everything they can in the wild. They are extremely destructive to small wildlife. The only animals that kill for fun are cats and humans. I support taking them out, the cats that is....

When we move into our current house, we litterally had doves, cardinals, bluejays and robins actively nesting all over our yard. My damn cat killed all of them, and nothing nests in our yard anymore.
(and yeah, I know I'm trying to keep him inside.)

The only thing crazy about this law is that it is not now ILLEGAL to shoot feral cats. The only thing this proposed law has done is get the animal rights loonies up in arms.

One of the campgrounds where I regularly camp had a tremendous problem with feral cats at one time. It's out in the middle of nowhere and people dump unwanted cats and dogs there and go on their way.... The campground host, who lives in the camp, asked me to off any cat I saw. "No problem." said I.....
But that's another story....
