I have a 90 and was wondering where the paint codes are located. thanks in advance.

I think I found it.

The 1990 Corvette exterior colors were:
10 = White
25 = Steel Blue Metallic
41 = Black
42 = Turquoise Metallic
53 = Competition Yellow
68 = Dark Red Metallic
80 = Quasar Blue Metallic
81 = Bright Red
91 = Polo Green Metallic
96 = Charcoal Metallic

Check your option code list under the center consol cover. Yours should have 68U.

1990 was a weird year for Dark Red Metallic. Although the shade of the color itself changed from the `86-`89 version, early `90s still used the 68 RPO code. At some point during the `90 run, the code changed to 74, and was also known as Brilliant Red.

Look for the RPO sticker (for `90 it's located on the underside of the storage compartment lid between the seats, and make sure the VINs match as this part is commonly donated from other Vettes).

The actual paint code will be WA???? listed at the bottom of the RPO sticker.
